The first hour of canvassing for the Canadian Cancer Society is under my belt and I can report that I found 4 retired
neighbours at home between 5 and 6 pm.
That’s an average of 25.00 per person and 15 minutes per visit.
I can tell you why
Vicky loves to visit her grandson, the state of the Barr kitchen renovation, what Paula
thinks of the book Reading Lolita in Tehran, and why Aileen has given up
canvassing.
Not bad.
It makes up for having to walk from house to
house in my winter coat.
Had you listed it in your new notebook? Won't it be satifying when you can give it a final tick as 'job complete'?
