#228: Yes! We Have No Reception

There was a Volunteer Appreciation Reception today at the library where I used to work. 

I was not there although, when I recently answered some questions for the new volunteer coordinator, she did ask me if I wanted to attend.  I almost answered "Are you kidding!"  Instead, I said that it was very kind of her, and I assured her that she would have a great time.  I always did.

It's true. I loved participating in those events and I liked them even more when they were over.

So, today I: had a leisurely breakfast, went to church, did some reading, and saw Salmon Fishing in Yemen at The Princess Theatre in Waterloo.

Volunteer Reception?   What Volunteer Reception?
